What are thread veins?
Thread veins or commonly called spider veins are tiny prominent veins just below the skin surface. They tend to branch and give a spidery sort of patter, hence their common name. These veins can occur anywhere on the body but are most often found on the legs and face.
How the treatment works
Using the ICON advanced technology, the ICON can precisely target the specific area affected by thread veins. A combination of dynamic spectrum shifting and dual band filters allow the ICON to provide uniform heating across the entire diameter of the vessel, clearing even the deepest facial vessels.
The ICON harnesses the IPL to create wavelengths of specifically filtered light to target red blood cells in the vessels. These specialised pulses of light can target the specific vessels without harming the surrounding skin. The light delivered to the skin causes the vessels to slowly disappear through your body’s natural healing process.

- Regularly cleanse the skin with warm water, a gentle cleanser or a light oil-free moisturiser
